This trek takes you to remote villages that are far from the beaten track. Sikles is the beautiful and extremely well kept village of Siklis perched on a hillock at an altitude of 2000 mtrs. Siklis is famous for its very well maintained rustic flair and there are few better examples of a traditional Gurung village. The trek itself is not a difficult one allowing time to study the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on route whilst also providing some wonderful mountains views of the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Fishtail and Lamjung. Trek Duration: 8 days Best Season: Autumn (Sep-Dec) and Spring (Mar-May) Starting from: Bijaypur Khola (river) (1hours drive by private vehicle from Pokhara) Ending at: Phedi (1.5hours drive by private vehicle to Pokhara) Grade: Adventurous and moderate interesting Highest access of the trek: Siklis 2700 metres Aprox. Average Temperature: -0 to 15 Celsius
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus. Day 02: Pokhara drive to Bijaypur Khola (River) and trek to Thulakot and over night stay in Camp (4hours.) Day 03: Thulakot to Taprang and overnight (5 hours) Day 04: Taprang to Lamakhet and overnight (5 hours) Day 05: Lamakhet to Siklis and overnight (4 hours) Day 06: Rest. Day 07: Siklis to Thumke Danda and overnight (5 hours) Day 08: ThumkeDanda trek to Phedikhola about 3hours and drive to Pokhara by private vehicle and overnight at Hotel.
