Day 01: Fly Delhi/Kolkata/Kathmandu to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station and drive to Darjeeling. (51/2hrs) Overnight at hotel. Day 02: Darjeeling (2100m) morning Visit Himalayan Zoo- himalayan fauna in natural habitat, red panda, black bear, yaks and the famous show leopard/ Himalayan Mountaineering institute and Museum of Everest Expedition / Tibetan self help centre, training and sales Emporium of Tibetan handicrafts. Afternoon. Darjeeling-Pemayangste, (102km/4 1/2hrs) After lunch drive to Pemayansgte, West Sikkim. Overnight at hotel or Lodge. Day 03: Pemayangtse (2,085m) the Morning Visit the Pemayangtse Monastery. This is a premier monastery of Sikkim built in the 17th century. afternoon A short walk to Sangobhholing Monastery (02 km/45 mis) located on a hillock above the hotel. On a clear day the view of the mountain range is breathtaking . O/N at hotel. Day 04: pemayangtse -Gantok (1,600mts/117 km 5 hrs) In the morning drive through semi tropical forests, cardamom plantation and small villages to Gangtok, once the capital of the kingdom of Sikkm,after noon relaxing O/N at hotel Day 05: Gangtok : Full day sightseeing In the Visit Enchey Monastery, Deer Park, Government institute of cottage Industry, Dodrul Chorten, Research institute of Tebetolagy afternoon Visit Rumtek Monastery, situated 24 kms this magnificent monastery was built by the late Gyalwa Karmapa, the head of the Kagyu sect. O/N at hotel Day 06: Gangtok-Kalimpong (588m/85 kms/ 2 1/2hrs) In the morning drive along the Rangit river valley to Kalimpong afternoon visit flower nurseries / local monastery / handicraft centre. O/N at hotel. Day 07: Kalimpong- Early morning drive Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station / Bhaktapur airport (221kms/ 6 1/2 hrs).
