Visitor arrivals in the month of January 2010 has been posted at 26,071, an increase by 18.8% compared to the same month last year. According to figures released by the Immigration Office, TIA the Asian segment has registered a positive growth of 15.4%, 34.9% from the European markets with arrivals from major generating markets such as the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland.Tourist arrivals from Australia, Canada and USA have also registered robust growth of 17.5%, 69.2% and 10.2% respectively.
