According to data collected by Immigration Office, TIA a total of 44,431 visitors entered Nepal via air in March, recording a robust growth of 34.6% , as compared to the same month last year.
Arrivals from the South Asian region, except Sri Lanka, registered an overall positive growth of 35.3%. Arrivals from Bangladesh and Pakistan surged by 53.8 % and 3.2% respectively. An overall growth of 42 % has been recorded in the arrivals from the European markets with major generating markets such as UK, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands recording growths by 44.9%, 5.4%, 40.8%, 44% and 128.2%. |
