Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari has urged all sectors concerned to make the tourism year-2011 a grand success since tourism development is the base for the building of new Nepal.
Inaugurating a road festival organised by Thamel Tourism Development Council in Thamel, Minister Bhandari said promotion of tourism area will serve to improve livelihood of Nepali people. He urged the industrialists to run their business and industries keeping in mind the upcoming tourism year. Council Chairperson Surendra Kumar Shrestha also spoke.
