Fisthtail Air has acquired a new chopper in its fleet. The Bell 206B III Jet Ranger helicopter landed in Tribhuvan International Airport on June 10, according to a press release issued by the company.
'With the new scenario in the country and the increase in the influx of tourists, helicopters will play a major role towards more tourist activities,' the press release adds. The main features of the helicopter are superior autorotation characteristics, collective mounted throttles, rupture resistance fuel cells, and the ability to fly up to an altitude of 16,000 feet.
The airline recently completed its first year of operations after a relaunch with an AS 350B helicopter.
Meanwhile, Agni Air has also acquired a new Dornier 228 aircraft in its fleet. The airline aims to use the aircraft in the Pokhara and Jomsom sector from next month.
