Barpak Village is situated upon the hill top about 1900 meter high from sea level at north of Gorkha, also known as village of late VC Capt. Gage Ghale who won highest honor Victoria Cross Medal in second world war.

Barpak Village has nearly 1400 houses and nearly 20 thousand populations mainly with Ghale and Gurungs tribes. There are some dominated cast as well as.

This is a beautiful and cultural village in Nepal to observe the rural, ethnical (Gurung) cultural and tradition. Even today we can see a man walking around the village wearing a traditional (Bakkhu) scarp made by sheep wool. Further the village people working in the field in a traditional way, making a local whisky, wearing a traditional dress are major attraction.

The other interesting things in Barpak village hiking tour is to enjoy the local family. Tourist are welcomed there and they will stay in a local house, eat a locally cooked food and sleep in a local house. If any one interested they can join for cooking, working with family or etc.

Barpak village is situated in the lap of Buddha himal and after a couple of hour hiking to the hill Manaslu, Himal Chuli and other Himalayan peaks can be seen.

We will be waiting to you in Nepal airport and transfer to hotel. You will have a free evening to stroll around your hotel. Night rest in the hotel.

    After the breakfast drive take a local regular bus at 7am form Kathmandu to Baluwa (approx 6 hrs) the down hill of Barpak village and take a local jeep to Barpak village. You will be welcomed by flower garland. Check in to your hosted house. Take a easy stroll around the house. You must be tired and have a dinner with the local family and night rest. You can enjoy the locally made whisky. 

      Take a local breakfast made by mother of the house and take out to observe the local life style. You will be passing by the people wearing a traditional cloth Bakkhu which looks unique. You will see the people working in the field or in a traditional way. Visit historian Gaje Ghales house (VC Cross awarded in the 2nd Great war) and typical housed. You will pass by some women making whisky. Back to House. Evening you can expect a cultural program (optional) and you can join dancing or singing. BLD.

        Wake up early morning and hike to the view point to see the Mt. Manaslu, Buddha Himal, Himal Chuli and other small peak. Back to the home to take a lunch. After you will be guide to take a tour around the village. Our guide will take you to explore the village and around. BLD

          The host mother will see you off with Tika and garland and might some local product gift. We will drive down to Baluwa where the local bus will be waiting to leave to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and rest.
