Everest Base Camp Trek follows the trial in the Everest region. Everest Region is well known for the world's highest mountain the glorious Mount Everest 8,848.86 m (29,031.7 ft). This region is also a piece of heaven on Earth for trekkers and it has four of the world's 14 highest peaks: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-yu among other mountains. The region is one of the most popular trekking areas though slightly more difficult to get to. This is also the home of the famous Sherpa people (well known for their climbing stamina and courage).

To get to this wonderful place, one can fly to Lukla from Kathmandu or get a bus to Jiri, the second choice is for those who want to do a classic trek and is the best way to acclimatize as well. Gokyo and the Everest Base Camp are two of the most popular trekking routes.

Arrival at the Kathmandu airport. We will welcome you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

    Early morning we fly to Lukla from Kathmandu.After 30 minutes scenic flight, arrive in Lukla. Having first breakfast in the mountain,we start our trekking to Phakding village. After the lunch, we look around the village. Overnight at Hotel.

      After breakfast we will continue our trek following Dudhkoshi river. We cross it twice to reach Monjo village by small suspension bridge which is also the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park. After descend walk of about 20 minutes we reach to Jorsalle village, the last village till Namche Bazaar.After Jorsalle village, follow the Dudhkoshi river with gradual walk for half an hour and again crossing the suspension bridge, we walk all the way up to Namche Bazaar for couple hour, which is well known as the capital of Khumbu region.

        Today is our rest day for the acclimatization. After the breakfast, we make short excursion around Namche Bazaar, visiting Sagarmatha national park head quarter and Everest view hotel for the panoramic view of many white peaks.

          After breakfast we start our trek to Tyangboche. Today we have such a pleasant walk as we have great views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak. After crosing Dudhkoshi river, it will be hard walk to Tyangboche for slightly more than an hour as the trails leads up hill. After the uphill, you will be right at the Tyangboche village where beautiful Mt. Amadablam and big monasteries will come to your eyes first.

            After breakfast, we start our trek down to Diboche village through the rhododendron forest and crossing the bridge, we arrive one of the beautiful village in Pheriche.The trail continue to Dingboche as Mt. Amadablam get closer and closer. After 5 hours pleasant walk, finally we arrive in Dingboche which is also the gateway to Chukung Village and Islang peak.

              After the breakfast, we start our walk. The trail goes gradually up to Thukla. Pleasant uphill walk bring you at the memorial park of the climber and finally to your guesthouse in the Lobuche village.

                After having breakfast early in the morning,we continue our trek to Gorekshep Village. After having wonderful walk about 3 hours in a windy and rocky path, we arrive in Gorakshep. After check in at lodge & lunch, we continue our adventure towards Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall. During spring season, all the climbers gather in Everest Base Camp with colorful tents can be seen as if we are in snowy tents park.After exploring base camp and its surroundings glacier, we return back to Gorekshep.Wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse and other magnificent peaks, we complete our adventure for today.

                  Early in the morning, we start hike up to KalaPathar for the most wonderful sunrise views of the Mt.Everest. After climbing for couple hours, we arrive in the famous view point, the top of Kala pathar. Now we have the best view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Pumori and Ama Dablam along with the entire mountain views of Khumbu Himalayan range.Spending some time to take photograph here, we hike down to Gorekshep. After breakfast, we will have easy walk down to Pheriche for overnight.

                    After breakfast, we start our trek. Going down is easier and faster. With great memories of those spectacular views, we trek through pangboche, Tyangboche, Kyangzuma and to Namche Bazaar for overnight.

                      After breakfast, start our trek.Today is also easier as 4~hours pleasant walk bring us to Phakding village for overnight.
                      Today is our final day of walking. After breakfast we start our trek with descend path to Dudhkoshi River. Afterwards the trips goes ups and down all the way to Lukla for the overnight. In the evening, you can celebrate your last dinner with your crew member.

                        Today early morning flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. After completing the adventure, you can relax and rest at your hotel. In the evening, we welcome you to our office for your feed back of the trip. Afterward we will have fare well dinner together. Overnight at hotel.

                          This is your last day in Nepal. You can do shopping or buy some souvenirs for your family, friends or relatives until your departure to airport. We will transferred to the International Airport for your departure your onward destination.

Alternatively, if you have time and enthusiasm, traveling overland to Nepal via India is an option.                             • All foreign nationals, except Indian Citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Nepal entry visa , you can obtain easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.

                            • What is the best season for peak climbing?

                              - Nepal is Adventure paradise in the world. Most of the Peaks of Nepal can be measured all season of the year. Even-though spring mid March to mid June and autumn mid September to November are the best seasons for peak climbing.

                              Is it difficult climbing a Peak?

                              - Peak Climbing is Adventurous sport in which you can select from moderate to Adventurous.

                              What kind of fitness is necessary for peak climbing?

                              - Basically you have to physically fit and fine. Apart from that, you need to have basic to advance climbing knowledge which will be necessary as per peaks

                              What are the equipments needed for Climbing and what do you provide?

                              - You can see Climbing Equipments list in our Climbing Gear. A1 Excursion provide you basic gears like: Sleeping bag, Inner liner, Down Jacket, Ascender (Jumer), snow bars, Eight figure, fixed Rope and Camping gears like tent and mattress. Rest of the Climbing Gear Either you can bet or rest here in Kathmandu.

                              What kind of problems occurs in high altitude?

                              - Whenever you are in trekking to Summit the Peaks in high Altitude region, there is less oxygen. So our body will get less oxygen too and body might occur in high altitude sickness like: headache, dizzy, vomiting, drowsiness, hypothermia if get worst even death.

                              Do I need permit for peak climbing?

                              - Yes you need Climbing permit which will be issued by Nepal Mountaineering Association.

                              Is possible to charge my device while peak climbing?

                              - Yes you can charge your devices all the time either by Electricity in tea house or some times by solar power.

                              How will be my guide and what is his experience and does He insure?

                              - A1 Excursion Adventure will provide you professional and experience Climbing guide who has good knowledge of mountain trekking climbing.

                              How will be food and accommodation during the trip?

                              - You can get variety Fresh Organic Nepali foods like: Dal-Bhat, Momo, Roti etc as well as continental foods. Regarding the Accommodation You will sleep in clean Basic tea houses as well some night in Tent.

                              Do I get a certificate after Summit on peak?

                              - Of course, A1 Excursion assists you to get beautiful certificate from Nepal Mountaineering Association.

                              What happened if I become sick? 

                              - It will depend on seriousness of sickness while we do have first aid medicine. If the case is serious then A1 Excursion will arrange the necessary evacuation to the nearest Hospital or Kathmandu for you.

                              Do I get refund if I become sick before peak climbing?

                              Dear Raj brother,
                              I am at loss of words to praise A1 and your team. From the bottom of my heart i am writing rhis.
                              Right from check in till expedition and way back to City, the way your team has put in efforts is commendable! Be it stay, food, luggage, logistics serving hot and delicious food, guiding throughout journey, etc.everything was perfect and precise. Be it your brother Ravi, Pasang, Gokarna, Binod and all other ground staff everyone went out of their way to ensure maximum comfort and took good care of all of us. Honestly, i made real friends with your team and enjoyed every moment especially with Your brother, Pasang dai and Gokarna and others.
                              Would look forward to trek again or maybe a leisure trip again to Nepal with A1 & team in near future.
                              Tomorrow i will be bidding goodbye to Nepal by afternoon, and will be back home to Mumbai by night with sweet memories.
