In the morning you can stroll in the streets of Thamel while we arrange all your trekking documents (TIMS & National Park Permit) . Then you collect all the necessary documents from our representative and drive to the domestic section of Kathmandu airport. From Kathmandu we fly on any domestic carrier to Nepalgunj. Nepalgunj , a town in the western Terai , is very close to the Indian border and the Bardia Nationl Park. It is a major transport hub for western, mid-western and far-western regions of Nepal. Overnight at hotel or lodge.
 

    Today in the morning, we fly to Jumla. About thirty minutes of flight from Nepalgunj brings us to Jumla. Once we land at the Jumla Airport and exit out to Khalanga Baazar we will instantly begin the trek. Treading along the trail beside Jugad Khola, which has farmlands and forested regions throughout we arrive to Chhere Chaur. At Chhere Chaur the trail branches into two. We follow the trail on the right that slides up to Danphe Lagna Pass 3691m. The gradual downhill climb from the pass brings us to Khali Gaon. The first day of Jumla to Rara Lake Trek ends at Khali Gaon.

      Jumla to Rara Lake Trek begins with the downhill climb to the village of Tharmanri 3290m. Beyond Tharmari the trail gains elevation steeply for a while and then descends down sharply to Himdhuksi. Now the trail runs beside a small stream for a while and climbs up to the bridge at 3681m to emerge out to the large settlement of Nauri Ghat. Few uphill and downhill climbs frequently emerging at villages including Bharbhare and Chautha we arrive to our campsite in Bhulbhule

        Today is the big day of Jumla to Rara Lake Trek. We begin the trek with the walk through the jungle and get up to Chhuchemara Danda. From Chuchemara Hill 4090m, we get to see the beautiful views in all directions and in all sides. To the north, we see snowcapped peaks offering wonderful backdrop to Rara Lake and lush vegetation of Rara National Park. We could sight, the beautiful green hills holding stunning Rara Lake in the middle. And down we could see the mesmerizing view of the lake itself. Beyond Chhuchemara Danda, the third day of Jumla to Rara Lake Trek continues to go up and down through the jungle all the way to the south side of Rara Lake. The trek today is a typical trekking day in Nepal that has several uphill and downhill climbs. On arriving at Rara Lake, we will have our camps set and explore around for a while. Overnight in the tented camps.
         

          Rara Lake is probably Nepal’s most beautiful and the largest lake. A day to explore around this lake is never more. We could simply walk around the lake where we can see the number of species of medical plants and flowers. The peacefulness attached with the lake is so appealing that we would never want to leave the place early. Savor the views of the lake, enjoy the boating session there and have the best time of your life at Rara Lake.

            After a rest day at Rara Lake for exploration, while exiting out we take the alternate route. Cross passing a Thakuri Village of Jyari we arrive to the village of Dhuir, which has a heli-pad. Treading along the steep uphill trail for almost two hours, we arrive to the top of Ghurchi Lagna Pass 3480m, where we can see the signs of Tibetan Buddhism. With the colorful Buddhist prayer flags and small chortens the pass caters the magnificent views of vegetation, Himalayan peaks and wide valleys. From the pass we drop down to Bhulbhule for the overnight stay.

              The latter half of Jumla to Rara Lake Trek today enters the fascinating valley in the west Nepal, the Sinja Valley. We trek diagonally through the forestland to the viilage of Bota, which has a small health post. Now we officially enter Sinja Valley. The capital of Khasa Kingdom, Sinja is the place where the Khasa Language (Nepali) was originated. A purposed World UNESCO Heritage Site, Sinja also has the remains of ancient temples and palaces. As we enter Sinja Valley today, we will trek up to Gothi Chaur, one of the popular villages of Sinja Valley for the overnight stay.
               

                Trekking along the trails that stretch through the widespread and beautiful Sinja Valley is a great experience. We tread along gradual ups and downs and explore the ancient culture that still prospers here. Sinja is also one of the highest altitude places in the world that grows rice. Trekking for the whole day through this wonderful valley that has natural delights, cultural opulence and the historic significance we arrive to Nagma, the village at the southern end of Sinja Valley. Overnight in the camps or teahouses at Nagma.
                 

                  The final day of Jumla to Rara Lake Trek crosses Jaljala Pass 3585m and slides down sharply to Chhere Chaur. Beyond Chhere Chaur the trek runs along the retracing trail to Jumla. Overnight in Jumla
                   

                    Early morning, we walk to the airport in Kalanga (Jumla) from where we fly to the airport in Nepalgunj. At Nepalgunj we board a plane that directly connects us to Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time is free time.
