Peak climbing in Nepal is a growing tourist activity because of the presence of more than a dozen of trekking peaks. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has enlisted 28 (previously 33) mountains of the Himalayan ranges as the trekking peaks ranging from 5,650 meters to 6,500 meters. NMA in association with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has been studying further to discover more climbing peaks.
