Salang, Dhading
Salang is the beautiful village that lies in central part of Dhading district, Nepal. It is 90 km from capital (Kathmandu) and takes approximately 3 hours by bus from Kathmandu. Salang unites castes like magar, Brahmin, newar, cheetri etc. Huge number of magar people live here with their unique cultural and tradition. Most of the population of Salang depends upon agricultural activities like growing cash crops, food crops and animal husbandry. Also tourism is growing business there at Salang. Village sightseeing and natural beauties along with different species of flora and fauna are major attraction of Salang.
For tourism, siddhalekh is best and beautiful place at salang. Siddhalekh is 1300 m high from sea level and is famous for pilgrim palace of Dhading. Holy temple of lord Shiva is also place to visit there. Hills of siddhalekh are usually covered by rhododendron (at seasons). Siddhalekh from height also gives best view of other 49 villages of Dhading district.

Itinerary

On your arrival on Kathmandu airport, our airport representative will welcome you and drop you at Mount Annapurna guest house which is about 15-20 minutes drive from airport. After check in, Hotel staff will provide you welcome drink and our manager will give you briefing about your trip and programs. You can enjoy the remaining day and try to be familiar with Kathmandu.

Followed by the breakfast at hotel, our guide will pick up you for drive to Dhading (Aarubas).
Dhading (Aarubas): You can get majestic view of sidhdhathan (temple of lord Shiva) from Aarubas. Sidhdhathan on day of maha Shiva ratri is place to visit of this area. Maha Shivratri is a hindu festival celebrated every year in reverence of lord Shiva. Shivaratri literally means the great night of Shiva or the night of Shiva. It is celebrated every year on the 13th night/14th day of the Maagh Nepali month (about 27 February in English date). The festival is principally celebrated by offerings to Lord Shiva, all-day fasting and an all-night-long vigil. All through the day the devotees, chant the sacred mantra dedicated to Lord “Om Namah Shivaya”. And the people take marijuana and related drinks on this day as sacrament of Lord Shiva. There will be very big crowd of devotees in all temple of lord Shiva on this day.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go for Sightseeing on aarubas village. You can get majestic view of sidhdhathan from Aarubas. Followed by the breakfast, our guide will pick up you for drive to Kamalabari (Nalang).
Kamalabari: Kamalabari is a magar village. Huge number of magar people. Also magar language is used more in this village.

After breakfast, you will go for village Sightseeing on Nalang village.
Nalang: Nalang is very popular for Sriban Nature Camp.
Sriban Nature Camp is situated on the hilltop of Patle, Nalang village of Dhading district, Sriban Nature Camp offer guest house facilities.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go for Sriban nature camp with our guide from nalang.

After breakfast, you with our guide will go to salang. You with our guide will move back to Kathmandu and stay at Mount Annapurna guest house.
