Very helpful and efficient

This agency is honest, helpful and efficient. I know them from a friend and I strongly recommend their service! They helped me to organise the Annapurnas tour and when I had issues on the way back (because of plane delay) they were fast and efficient in the their answer.

Awesome trip to Manaslu with A1 Excursion

Our group with locals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland used A1 Excursions for a private trip to hike around mount Manaslu. We were 15 participants plus 8 porters and two guides.

You have to know, Nepal is quite a tough country where difficult circumstances easily happen and you should not expect too much. Wherever he could, our guide and the owner of A1 Excursion, Raj, tried to arrange special arrangements with locals to make our trip special. Once, we had an emergency because a participant from our group suffered from air mountain sickness (high altitude sickness) and Raj arranged a helicopter to fly him down the way to a hospital in Kathmandu.

What I really like at A1 Excursion is that you can customize your trip, e.g. by combining two trips or shorten/extend some stays. For instance, we booked a trip to Manaslu area and added a home stay and a jeep tour.

You can choose between cheep accomodations (sometimes down to $6/night) and more luxury ones (Nepal luxury not to be compared with European or American luxury) which are more expensive (starting at $25/night). It's up to you what you choose and it depends on how much you would like to spend for your accomodation. Always keep in mind, you have to pay an accomodation for the porter(s) and the guide(s) as well.

While at the beginning of the trip it was a cultural shock in Nepl and it took me a lot of energy to adjust my behaviour properly, I really liked it when Raj, our tour guide, took some time to explain me the background of some shown behavior of the locals.

Overall, you can trust on A1 Excursion and the owner Raj. He will try all of his best to make the trip as pleasant as possible for you.

Trekking Tsum valley and round Manaslu

We went trekking with A1 Excursions to the Tsum Valley and around Manaslu over the Larke Pass. 
A1 Excursion is a very reliable Partner in planning a personnel Trip. they are also reliable in all points on the trip itself like local information, flight bookings, taxi on time, Hotel reservation and so on.
We have been personally picked up at the Airport and stayd in a quite Place in Kathmandu. With friendly Raj (the A1 Oner) and Passang (oure Guide) we all set up the last details for the trekking. On the Trek Passang and the Porter Sagar where very friendly and looked good after us. Because they spoak good englisch we could learn and anderstand more from Nepali life and customs. We always had a lot of fun together. But If there was a littel problem, they cared about it and found a solution. We also could change oure intenery after aure demands. Aure guide had a good feeling for the people and was well known. He new the places where we are going at and what is nessery to make the trekking successful. 
We highly recommend A1 Excursion for your next exiting visit to Nepal. Namaste

A dream came true..!

I have fulfiled my dream and made a trekking tour through the former kindom "UpperMustang" in Himalaya/Nepal. In Upper Mustang you can still experience the traditional culture in the state of rapid change. I visited monasteries, temple complexes and I saw a lot of prayer flags, prayer mills, stupas, deep canyons and suspension bridges.
The organizer from A1 Excursion Adventure Tours & Travels, Raj Thapa, made my trip really memorable.
Raj was respectful, generous, kind and funny. All the nights were well planned. It felt like Raj knew everyone and he made sure to have double rooms instead of a common room every night. He was able to help us immediately with emerging issues. Often we stayed in the warm kitchen and some nights we danced spontaneously to typical nepalese music.
The incredible views of the Himalaya mountains were amazing and highlights of my trip.
Finally I have to say that it was a memorable experience for me. My dream came true.

Trekking Upper Mustang

A1 Execution is an excellent organizer with whom I have been trekking for 4 times through Nepal. The organization and execution of the trek through Upper Mustang was very good as usual. Everything went safely and on time. Many little things really make the difference compared to other organizers. Raj - the boss of A1 - is friendly and always tries to fulfill all the little wishes. The porters were friendly as well...we had a lot of fun together:))!
I’m going to travel with A1 through Nepal - again and again and again :)))!

Went with A1 Excursion to Upper Mustang for a trek of two weeks in November. 
I was more than surprised from the beginning of my adventure. Even arriving one day later as the rest of attendees I´ve been personally picked up from the airport by A1 (same for my departure, service level from an outstanding level).....

We´ve been guided trough an amazing nature from lovely guides, they spoke English very well and took care for all questions/remarks/lacks/comments/etc at any time. For the tiniest problem they´ve find a solution which made us happy at any time. Porters responsible for our luggage were more than reliable and guided us to find the best way - no matter what you need/ can manage - they´ve made the perfect decision. 

Even every extra desire from us has been served accordingly. Being the first time on a trek like that, I´ve never felt lost or something like that, there was always someone taking care of me and the others. 

From an organization perspective it couldn´t be better, flights have been booked in advance, all flights has been escorted to make sure we won´t run into problems, lodges were booked in advance, meals were prepared according our proposals.....every adjustment we´ve asked for - even an additional flight ha been fulfilled properly. 

I guess it´s not necessary to comment on shills like being polite, friendly, reliable... The entire team exceeds that. 

At the end of the day.....for everyone planning to go for a trek to Nepal I highly recommend A1 Excursion as your partner you can rely on.
