Breath-taking (literally! ;) views and great hospitality during 12 days Manaslu circuit in April 2017

In April 2017, I was trekking with 3 friends, 4 porters and 1 Sherpa in the Himalaya, the Manaslu circuit, and it was a life-influencing experience in a very positive way.
First of all, I need to mention all the great people we met along the way: Raj, Founder and Managing Director of A1 Excursion who personally went the extra mile for and with us; Pasang, our knowledgeable and very caring Sherpa; our lovely, joyful and attentive porters; a wise Rinpoche and a peaceful Tibetan monk; an impressive Tibetan refugee who introduced us into the Tibetan culture, the Buddhism and the person H.H. the Dalai Lama; contented, heartily and hospitable local people; heart-warming Nepalese children; and other pleasant trekkers from different nations.
Our tour started in Kathmandu, a very lively and dusty city but with a lot of calm and peaceful spots to pause for a moment and to learn about the culture. 12 perfectly organised days of trekking on the Manaslu circuit followed, full of magnificent landscapes, breath-taking (literally! ;) views and great hospitality. The guide and the porters took care about our sensitivities, chose the best available accommodations and prepared us for the upcoming route (“Nepali flat – a little bit up, a little bit down” ;) so that we always felt to be in very good hands. The food on the trek was simple but of good quality and quantity.
Besides, this tour was a personal challenge because it was my first trek in the mountains at all, especially at those altitudes (up to 5.100 m) and with so many suspension bridges (about 30). I learned to listen to my body and overcome my fear of heights, which was a great personal achievement.
After the trek, we stayed two additional full days in Pokhara. We relaxed in an Ayurveda clinic and did an awe-inspiring full-day Tibetan Encounter Tour with a Tibetan refugee. Highly recommendable!
Himalaya, Nepal and A1 Excursion, we will see us again, that is for sure! :)

    Great 14-day-trek to Tsum-Valley

It was my 9th trekking with A1 and like every time it was a great experience. The organisation of the tour was very good, our guide and the porters always friendly and very helpful - they helped us on tough passages on the way, carried the bagpack if somebody was struggeling with the walking, choosed good accomodation and helped to communicate with the locals. They tried everything to make the trek as comfortable and pleasant as possible. And even when somebody gets sick in the group, they always find a good solution and really care for the people. The Tsum-Valley is still a remote area. There were very few tourists and so we could enjoy great landscape, buddhist monasteries and many contacts to the local people with insights to their daily life. I am very thankful for this trekking and looking forward to my next tour with A1.

    Next time again with A1

I have been traveling for the first time in Nepal and with A1 in the mountains. I can recommend A1 as a competent service provider. The organization of the trek (> 12 people on the way to Annapurna Basecamp) was perfect, the accommodations well selected, the food healthy and delicious. Our guides and porters were friendly, very attentive, always helpful, accommodating and always ready to make the trek as pleasant as possible. Thanks to English-speaking and partly also German-speaking travel guides there were no communication problems. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp offers everything that makes Himalaya trekking so fascinating. Tropical bamboo and rhododendron forests, wild high mountain landscapes, picturesque villages, trekking trails, hot springs and spectacular views of countless 7- and 8,000-meter-high mountains. It was certainly not the last time I traveled with A1. It was a great time.

    Best trekking Company in Nepal

I did with this company treks in three times (one time Annapurna Base Camp and two times the Manaslu trail). The guides and the porters are very, very good, friendly and helpful. They know on trek the best places for sleeping and for food. All services by the A1-Company are excellent organized. For me is a trip to Nepal unthinkable without A1. You have a problem - they have a solution!

    Wonderful journey in Nepal

We visited Kathmandu and did the Manaslu Trek and had a wonderful time! Everything was excellently organized … from the hotel in Kathmandu to every single hotel on the trek! Never felt so safe and sound on a journey as this time. The porters were very attentive all the time, friendly and funny!

    Wonderful experienced

I did with this company the Everest Base Camp Trek, we were two people and we can affirm this was an incredible experience. You can plan all the trek with the company by mail, choosing stages and stops on the trail.
We had a fantastic guide (Pasang Dorge Sherpa) and porter (Ang Kami) who helped us during all the trek. The guide start with you from kathmandu and you have to pay his flight but the porter started from lukla.
I thing you will lost 50% about your experience without guide and porter and without entering in contact with sherpa people.
The agency is located on the second floor of a building under reconstruction, it's not so easy to find!
